Max Blank München Combi Heat Storage Stove

The new München combi stove is physically the tallest and the widest (but only just) of the four Max Blank corner stove options (Erfurt, Erfurt SP and Frankfurt) and has a generous nominal heat output of 10.0kW when burning wood and 6.4kW when burning pellets with its optional easy to use pellet kit and ball (highly recommended). Check out the Max Blank video here to see the Max Blank 'combi' concept in action and the beautiful tall vibrant flame patterns it produces – – for minimal effort and without electricity. Great for a quick impressive blast of good looking heat on a cold summer evening. It can always be retro-fitted at a later stage if you change your mind.

Max Blank offer a ten-year guarantee (subject to terms and conditions) which is a testament to the superior build quality of the München's metal components, 99% of which are made by Max Blank themselves. Although the München is a slim and slender stove with a space-saving footprint the tall fire chamber will easily take a standard 250mm (10") log. The fire chamber is lined with tightly tailored high quality 30mm thick chamotte ceramic fire brick to provide greater insulation and promote cleaner burning, thus ensuring that the München stove easily meets the 2022 Ecodesign emissions limits. The fire box is positioned in the middle third of the stove's impressive 6ft height and there's a tall right angled two-sided self closing door with minimal frame and a large air washed window to provide a striking clear view of the flame pattern wherever you are in your living space.

There's a choice of underfloor or rear direct external air supply inlet (please specify which one when ordering) which is an essential standard feature if you're installing the München in a living space with mechanical extraction (eg in a kitchen diner) or in post 2008 homes where there is a high standard of insulation. The bodywork is produced from the highest quality German Thyssen Krupp steel with an attention to design detail and finish from the user-friendly self-locking door handle to the precise single primary and secondary air control.
