Choosing the stove that's right for you is just one step along your journey to abundant, low carbon heat and secure energy independence.
However, the stove is only the first step. Just as important is who you choose to install your stove. The way that this is undertaken can affect your stove's operation, fuel efficiency, component lifespan, buildings insurance and ultimately the safety of you and your family. It's not a time to cut corners.
At The Stove Yard we are experts in the installation of stoves including in low energy passivhaus type buildings and homes with MVHR. We can ensure that your stove is installed according to current building regulations, industry best practice and the manufacturer's instructions by an independent recognised competent installer. In England we work with Hetas or OFTEC registered technicians who are able to self certify that their installation works comply with building regulations and the relevant certificate produced. In Northern Ireland, where self certification schemes do not apply,
The Stove Yard can handle all aspects of your Building Control application and compliance for you. For the best installation advice and stove choice visit our County Down or Cheshire showrooms where a warm welcome and all the expertise you need is ready and waiting. We can then arrange a site visit and detailed installation quotation.
The full stove installation process filmed, from fireplace widening to flue lining with stainless steel flexible liner. Filmed by Billy McAuley during his stove installation by stove fitters for The Stove Yard Northern Ireland. The stove is a Hi-Flame Graphite 5 Ecodesign Ready wood and multi-fuel stove. Many thanks Billy for the excellent video.
