DOVRE SENSE 113 WOOD BURNING STOVE

The Dovre Sense 113 is a compact slimline contemporary styled all-cast iron 5kW wood stove that is full of subtle curves and is simply striking. There isn't a stove quite like it anywhere that we know of so if you want a small designer stove that packs a big visual punch then it has to be the Sense 113. The first thing you notice about it is the subtle curved lines and the gently backward sloping facia with its virtual full width and full height window. This is compliment by matching side windows to create the next best thing to an open fire effect, but with a much more satisfying flame pattern. However, the Sense 113 is way more efficient than an open fire.

The Sense 113 delivers an A-rated performance of just under 80% efficiency compared to an open fire which at best is a measly 25%. So if you're changing up from an open fire then in practice you can probably count on cutting your consumption of logs by about two thirds. You'll also get a controllable heat range from just 2.3kW up to 7.0kW which is more than enough for the average to medium sized room. Dovre's renowned traditional all-cast iron construction delivers a sizeable heat sink of approximately 105kg (16.5 stone) for longer lasting warmth after the fire has long died down. The full width door will allow you to easily load 330mm (13") logs and Dovre's superior airwash system will help keep the Sense 113's big window clear.

Precise heat management and fuel consumption is via the Sense 113's single user-friendly slider control positioned just below the door and along with the discrete door handle which Dovre have placed at the side means that you get a clean, uncluttered looking stove. Direct external air supply is standard and makes the Sense 113 the perfect choice for post-2008 homes where you'd normally need a dedicated air vent. For installations within Smoke Control Areas there's an optional Defra Smoke Exempt kit and to help reduce safe distances to combustible materials at the rear even further there's also an easy-fit optional steel heat shield. Available in matt black finish or optional pure white enamel.
