Cupido 50 Gas Fire

Element4 Cupido 50 Balanced Flue Inset Gas Fire

The Cupido 50 is Element4's entry level inset gas fire and we're pleased to tell you that it still has all of the outstanding advanced technical features that make Element4 one of the most innovative gas appliance brands in the world. There are two models in the Cupido range, the 50 and the 70, with the 50 being the smallest. The 50 has an essentially square front viewable area of 475mm high and 456mm wide and being only 248mm deep means that it can be inserted into a feature wall or mock chimney breast (subject to adherence to non-combustible distances and ventilation requirements) without taking up a huge amount of space. It can also be incorporated within a typical fireplace.

As a balanced flue gas appliance the Cupido 50 is not open to the room, the fire bed being completely self-contained behind glass, which ensures safer operation and greater heat retention and radiation. Combustion air and flue gases run in opposite directions through the same double walled pipework connected to the outside and this ensures that incoming outside air is pre-heated by the outgoing hot combustion gas for greater effeciency. This balanced flue also means that the Cupido 50 can be installed anywhere in the house (subject to building regulations) when the optional Powerfan is specified. This provides the flexibility to specify flue lengths of up to 36 metres including horizontal runs.

The Cupido 50 has an efficiency of 83% with a generous heat output range of 2.kW to 6.1kW which is more than enough to cost effectively heat larger living spaces. It also features a highly realistic Real Flame wood log fire bed as standard with three other options available – white Carrara pebbles and white or grey stones, designed to complement your interior. It also comes with the E-Save remote control as standard which can also adjust the flame picture to create the perfect ambience. Element4's renowned Real Flame gas engine ensures great, wonderfully high, flames whatever the temperature setting and because the gas flame comes from below and moves around the logs the flames really do look the part –  certainly the best that we have ever seen on a gas fire. The fire chamber back wall comes in dense Black steel or optional shiny Black glass to maximise the dazzling flame pattern. To help create an 'open fire' look Element4 also give you the option of choosing anti reflection front glass which makes the glass almost invisible.
