The Stove Yard are hosting the Big Green Egg BBQ competition at the 2016 Sea Bangor Festival, where 8 competitors will bake, grill or roast their way to be crowned Bangor's Big Green Egg BBQ Champion - and win a large Big Green Egg valued at over £1000!

On 2nd May 2026 (starting at 10am), we're hosting a live cooking demonstration with Jasper Castel, private dining chef and local food figure best known as co-owner of The Boathouse Restaurant in Bangor. Jasper will be cooking on the Big Green Egg throughout the day — expect proper food, real fire, and a few things you probably haven't tried on a BBQ before.
