WIKING Miro 4 Lower Door

WIKING Miro 4 Lower Door Stove

The 4.9kW WIKING Miro 4 Lower Door, featuring a lower compartment with door, is Defra approved and has also passed the rigorous German DIBt test to ensure the safest possible room seal when combined with direct external air supply. This makes the WIKING Miro 4 Lower Door a great looking choice for an average to medium sized living space in contemporary designed low energy urban homes. Like all Wiking stoves the WIKING Miro 4 Lower Door, with its clean minimalist lines and big window airwashed on three sides, is extremely well built and shows a magnificent attention to detail that certainly belies its modest cost.

This attention to detail is in evidence even inside the WIKING Miro 4 Lower Door Stove's fire chamber which features a highly compressed, precisely engineered and shaped six-part set of vermiculite insulating panels. These tightly fitting panels ensure that there are none of the cold corners or panel gaps that you see on other stoves and which leak heat to reduce internal temperatures so that it affects overall efficiency and increases emissions.

The WIKING Miro 4 Lower Door Stove's outstanding clean burning credentials are further aided by the Wiking Automatic which comes as standard. This purely mechanical device boosts the supply of primary combustion air when lighting and refuelling and at the end of the burn cycle to maintain high heat so that even more particulates are burned off. Pre-heated tertiary air supplies additional combustion air at the top of the fire chamber to burn off more of the remaining particulates just before they leave the stove.

All of this ensures maximum heat from the wood fuel with the minimum emissions being produced and all with very little operator input. There's just one simple slider control to precisely manage the Miro 4's impressive 3.0kW to 8.0kW heat output range and flame pattern. Superior steel bodywork and the perfectly balanced premium cast iron door ensure a secure room seal with the minimum of effort (all thanks to Wiking's patented closure mechanism) and there's also a longer lasting cast iron fire grate with separate ash pan for easier cleaning. It's all very hard to beat for the money.
