The ESSE 775B has a solid valance beneath its contemporary wood-burning body. This gives it a continuous lower outline, while the 775F sits on classic feet. Choose the look you prefer once you have checked that the 6–11kW output range suits your room.

The valance gives the B a continuous outline at hearth level. Compare it with the footed 775F and tell us which version you prefer.
The two versions share the same output range, efficiency, weight and dimensions. The valance changes the appearance.
The 775 family is built in Lancashire from UK steel and cast iron. A single long-travel control regulates the air supply and burn rate.
The 775B has 76% efficiency and an A+ rating. At 610mm high, 550mm wide and 350mm deep, it matches the 775F’s size and 99kg weight. A single long-travel air control regulates the burn, with top or rear flue outlets available.
Start with the 775F if you want the same stove on classic feet. The 755 is 670mm high, with the same 550mm width and 350mm depth. The traditional 705 is wider and deeper. Once you know the output your room needs, the drawings and photographs will help you choose the shape.
The solid valance is a design feature, not a log store or insulated base. Your installer will check the hearth, ventilation, clearances and top or rear flue route using the 700-series instructions.
The B has a solid valance and the F has classic feet. Both measure 610 × 550 × 350mm, weigh 99kg and have a 6–11kW output range with 76% efficiency.
The valance is not specified as a log store. Keep it as the manufacturer intends.
