Which Gozney pizza oven is right for you?
Start with three practical questions: how large are the pizzas you want to make, will the oven stay in one place, and do you want to cook with gas or tend a fire?
For a compact gas setup
Arc Lite takes a 12-inch pizza and weighs 12kg. It is a useful starting point when the available cooking space is limited. It does not have the built-in temperature display found on Arc and Arc XL, so account for how you will check the stone temperature.
For an oven you can take away
Tread is a 12-inch propane oven with carrying handles, a 13.5kg oven weight and an analogue stone-temperature gauge. Plan for the weight and transport of the complete setup, including the gas bottle. Its optional stand and other equipment are separate purchases.
Roccbox is another portable 12-inch choice. It has folding legs, a detachable gas burner and a temperature gauge. A separate compatible wood burner provides the wood-fuel option. Check what is included in your chosen package before ordering.
For larger pizzas on the patio
Arc takes a 14-inch pizza; Arc XL takes 16 inches. Both use propane and have a digital display for stone temperature. They are good models to compare when pizza is the main event and you want more working room than a 12-inch oven.
For a larger outdoor cooking area
Dome Gen 2 supports a single 16-inch pizza or two 10-inch pizzas. Dome XL Gen 2 increases that to one 18-inch, two 12-inch or three 10-inch pizzas. Both support propane, wood and charcoal, with a digital console and meat probes for a broader range of cooking.
Allow for the oven, a suitably rated stand or counter, the gas bottle and the manufacturer's clearances. Product width alone does not tell you how much installation space you need. These are substantial ovens to position before the first cook.
Check the exact package
A photograph may show a stand, cover or peel that is sold separately. Read the included-equipment list for the exact oven and match optional equipment to its model and generation. If you already own a Dome accessory, check its compatibility before moving it to a Gen 2 oven.
