What you will notice
Black or stainless-steel pillars
Choose black for a matching finish or stainless steel for contrast. Tell us which you prefer and we will include it in your quote.
A square view of the fire
The square window and round pillars give the 525 a more contemporary look than the arched-door 500. At 440mm wide, it is only 10mm wider.
Separate air controls
The 525 has primary and secondary air sliders and a twin-position grate. We can explain the controls and the settings for the permitted fuel at handover.
Inside the ESSE 525
The 525 has a nominal 5kW output, 82.9% efficiency and an A+ rating. It measures 542mm high, 440mm wide and 380mm deep. Primary and secondary air sliders, a twin-position riddling grate and top or rear flue options give you control over the setup and burn.
Compare with other ESSE stoves
The 525 is 380mm deep, compared with 350mm for the 500 and 305mm for the 550. The 550 is taller and narrower, at 372mm wide. All three have a nominal 5kW output and 82.9% efficiency, leaving you to compare the shape, fire view and finish.
Planning your installation
Let us know your pillar finish when requesting a quote. Your installer will check the hearth, clearances and flue around the 440 × 380mm body footprint. The grate has wood and mineral-fuel settings; use only the fuel and settings permitted in the instructions for your stove.
