At 8.1kW the Defra approved Stovax Riva2 66 widescreen wood burning inset stove has the largest heat output of the four new Stovax Riva2 convector insets. Remarkably for such an output, the Stovax Riva2 66 features a flue outlet of just 125mm (5") which has the advantage of providing greater installation flexibility and also helping to keep fitting costs down. One fairly unique feature of the Stovax Riva2 66 is that you can also easily add a warm air ducting system to it from its two top outlets to distribute its generous heat within a larger living space or to two other adjacent rooms. When you consider that with the Stovax Riva2 66 you also get the option for direct external air supply (DEAS) integrated from the rear or base as standard, this will further make the Stovax Riva2 66 inset a great choice for low energy homes and modern open plan living.

The Stovax Riva2 66's big landscape picture window is kept beautifully clear with Stovax's advanced DualFlow system which not only directs warm air from the top of the glass, but also from the base, for a much improved airwash. As with all Stovax appliances the construction is first class, heavy duty and made to last. For example, unlike most modern wood burners the fire chamber floor of the Stovax Riva2 66 is constructed of steel and high quality cast iron and features a movable inner grate which can be remotely opened and closed to maximise the fuel's access to combustion air when first lighting the fire or reloading fuel and minimising the time it takes to get to full operating temperature with minimal emissions.

The Stovax Riva2 66's stunning good looks are further enhanced with a choice of two frame profile widths 54mm and minimal 30mm XS. These can be specified as 3-sided for ground level hearths or 4-sided for hole-in-the-wall installations at height.
