HWAM 2610M Low Plinth

HWAM 2610M ON PLINTH

The compact Hwam 2610M wood burner is probably Hwam's best selling stove – it's simply exceptional. From it's sleek glass fronted modern door and contemporary minimalist styling to its premium quality materials and superb build quality the Hwam 2610M is one of the very best examples of the Danish stove maker's art. Performance is first class and operating it and getting the best out of the fuel couldn't be easier. Importantly, with its semi circular footprint and large glass area, plus full height side windows, you also get a great view of the fire from wherever you are in the room.

The Hwam 2610M has an A+ rated 80.3% efficiency which is partly driven by the Hwam AutoPilot automatic combustion air management system which comes as standard. This purely mechanical device boosts the supply of primary combustion air when lighting and refuelling as well as at the end of the burn cycle to maintain the highest heat within the fire cahamber. This helps maximise efficiency and at the same time ensures that even more unwanted particulates are burned off to make the 2610M particularly friendly to the environment. The 2610M fire chamber is also tightly lined with densely moulded vermiculite panels to ensure there are none of the leaky cold spots that reduce efficiency. Pre-heated tertiary air jets supply additional combustion air at the top of the fire chamber to wring out every last calorie of heat from the fuel.

With the Hwam 2610M you get a heat range starting at a lowly 2.0kW and going right up to a plentiful 6.0kW (depending on fuel load) with a very practical nominal heat output of 4.5kW making it a great choice for small to medium sized living spaces. Direct external air supply capability and the DIBt tested room seal additionally make the 2610M superbly suited for low energy homes and those with MVHR systems. Flame height and heat output are controlled with a single discreet slider control. The door features Hwam's unique closing mechanism for an easier secure seal every time and the window has Hwam's powerful 3-Way air wash system, which not only washes preheated air from the top of the glass but also from both sides to help maintain a clear view of the fire. A smaller pressed steel door, which you simply push to open, conceals the ash pan chamber and ash pan for easier removal of the wood ash when it's needed. Finally, the Hwam 2610M is Defra approved for burning wood in Smoke Control areas.

There are six models in the Danish-made Hwam 2610 range and includes wall-mounted and pedestal stand options with a choice of classic cast iron (C) or modern glass-fronted (M) doors.
