The highly efficient 84.2% 9kW heat output, chic retro styled DOVRE Vintage 50 Wood Burning Stove will make a simply stunning focal point in any large living space, especially if it is not confined to a fireplace opening, where the full panoramic effect of its wide screen flames, subtle curves and elegant legs could be lost. The DOVRE Vintage 50 Wood Burning Stove is definitely a stove which deserves to stand alone. 

The DOVRE Vintage 50 Wood Burning Stove has separate discrete primary and secondary air controls to provide precise control over the full heat output range from a lowly 3kW right through to the maximum 11kW output, depending on the fuel load. It will also easily take a 500mm (24") log). The stove door, with its large full width and full height window, sits flush inside the bodywork and features a striking door release knob on the side wall perfectly in keeping with the 50s and 60s design aesthetic. 

Premium quality, precision moulded all cast iron construction (155kg of it), clean burn technology that delivers emissions well below the new Ecodesign limits and a superb full width airwash system are all part of the exceptional DOVRE Vintage 50 Wood Burning Stove package. With all that cast iron the Vintage 50 also provides the room with an incredible slow release heat sink to exudes warmth long after the fire has died down and is so much greater than with regular steel bodied stoves. External air supply capability (DEAS) is standard and you also have the option of top or rear fitting 150mm flue. 

There's an optional Defra Smoke Exempt Kit for the Vintage 50, a rarity for such a high heat output stove. The standard Vintage 50 is finished in Anthracite coloured matt paint or you could always opt for the wipe clean Pure White enamel option to make the ultimate contemporary visual statement. We can't think of any other stove available that looks quite like the DOVRE Vintage 50 Wood Burning Stove and certainly one that improves on its low emissions and 84.2% efficiency is also going to be hard to find.

NB The DOVRE Vintage 50 Wood Burning Stove with legs is currently only available matt black or Pure White enamel – all other design variations have been discontinued by Dovre.
