HWAM 2610C ON PLINTH

The Defra approved Hwam 2610C is a compact contemporary styled wood burning stove with a practical nominal heat output of around 4.5kW which makes it a great choice for small to medium sized rooms. Having a small footprint and low safe distances to combustible materials means that it won't eat into much needed living space either. The semi circular shape, big gently curved main 3-Way air washed window (top and both sides) and matching tall side windows deliver a great view of the Hwam 2610C's wonderful flames wherever you are in the room too.

The 'C' in the 2610C model number stands for cast iron door and Hwam also you offer you an alternative 'M' version which features a sleek all-over glass-fronted minimalist modern door. All Hwam stove doors incorporate Hwam's unique door closing mechanism which ensures that you get a tight fitting room seal with the minimum of effort. This air-tight seal, which has passed the exacting German DIBt standard, and the 2610C's base or rear direct external air supply capability make this a stove especially suited for installation in low energy homes, including those with MVHR systems (subject to BS8303 spillage tests).

There's just one user friendly slider control on the Hwam 2610C and this, combined with Hwam's Autopilot system which comes as standard, will allow you to precisely manage the 2.0kW to 6.0kW heat output range (depending on fuel load). In practical terms this means that you'll be able to use your stove much more often throughout the year on cool summer evenings for example, as well as be able to totally depend upon it when the worst of winter sets in. There's an option to upgrade Hwam 2610C with the patented SmartControl where the room temperature can be set and gentle reminders to refuel the stove are sounded.

Build quality on the Hwam 2610C is exceptional – you just have to open and close the door and take a look inside the fire chamber to see, and importantly feel, just how well put together everything is. Premium quality materials and attention to detail can be seen everywhere from the thick steel bodywork and heavy duty cast iron door to the highly engineered vermiculite lined fire chamber and robust stainless steel stay cool handle. A smaller lower pressed steel door, which you simply push to open, conceals the ash pan chamber and ash pan for easier removal of the wood ash when it's needed.

There are five other models in the Danish-made Hwam 2610-Series and includes wall-mounted and pedestal stand options with a choice of classic cast iron (C) or modern glass-fronted (M) doors.
