What you will notice
A hob without the taller oven body
The Warmheart is 209mm shorter than the Bakeheart, with the same 500mm width and 600mm depth. Choose it if you want hob cooking and room heat without a separate baking oven.
Move the pan to adjust the heat
The hob is hotter in the centre and cooler towards the outside. Pan position and how you fire the stove work together to control cooking temperatures.
Enjoy the fire while you cook
The glass door keeps the flames in view. The same fire can heat a kettle or a pan on the hob while warming the room.
Inside the ESSE Warmheart
The Warmheart is 691mm high and 600mm deep and weighs 154kg. It has 5kW output, an A rating and 77.3% net efficiency. Its graduated 190–300°C hob lets you move pans between hotter and cooler areas while the fire warms the room.
Compare with other ESSE stoves
The Warmheart S has a simpler, uncovered top. Both versions measure 691 × 500 × 600mm and give 5kW of heat; the Warmheart weighs 154kg and the S weighs 120kg. The S has its own accessories and drawing. For a separate baking oven, choose the taller, heavier Bakeheart.
Planning your installation
Think about when you want to cook and heat the room together, since both use the same fire. The Warmheart takes dry, seasoned logs up to 400mm long. Your installer will use the Warmheart drawing and its sections of the shared manual to check the hearth, flue, clearances and any cover.
