The ESSE 175F puts the contemporary 175 wood burner on classic feet. It is the version to choose if you like a little space beneath the stove, rather than the solid front of the 175B. Both versions share the same heating specification.

The visible feet change the look at hearth level. Compare the F and B photographs against the style of your surround to see which you prefer.

Both versions have a nominal 5kW output and 83.7% efficiency. You can choose the base style you like without changing those heating figures.
Particulate Reburn and Precision Burn
Particulate Reburn uses a catalytic filter; Precision Burn controls the air supply. The 175 manual explains both, and we can talk you through the controls.
Inside the ESSE 175F
The 175F has a nominal 5kW output, 83.7% efficiency and an A+ energy rating. Particulate Reburn catalytic technology and Precision Burn air control are included. It measures 590mm high, 546mm wide and 312mm deep and weighs 97.5kg.
Compare with other ESSE stoves
The 175B has a solid base in place of the classic feet. Both versions have the same overall dimensions and weight. The 155 is another contemporary option: it shares the 546mm width and 5kW output, but is 610mm high and 296mm deep.
Planning your installation
Your installer will check the hearth and clearances using the 175 instructions. The space beneath the feet is not a log store. If the installation uses an additional heat shield, the installer must check the correct shield and the clearances that apply to that setup. The 590 × 546 × 312mm measurements are for the stove itself.
