Element4 Modore 240 Extreme Widescreen Inset Gas Fire

The frameless Modore 240 is as sleek and minimalist a contemporary gas fire as you're ever likely to see. Stunning is an over-used word but at The Stove Yard we have no problem in applying it to this exceptional room heater from Element4. With a viewable area of 2.4 metres wide and a height of just 375mm the slot-like proportions of the Modore 240 have been designed to make this hole in the wall fire an important architectural statement as well as a welcoming focal point in a big space. With a controllable heat output of up to 17.6kW it will also have no problem quickly and efficiently heating those kinds of spaces either.

The Modore 240 features Element4's renowned Multi Burner system which ensures a full width flame pattern across the whole of the 8 foot wide fire bed. This features three long overlapping burners which apply the flames from underneath the ceramic log effect fuel bed to create an incredibly realistic deep flame picture. Heat can be regulated by switching off the left and right burners to leave the central burner alone to create an equally attractive smaller fire, at approximately one metre wide, in the middle of the fire box. The heat output range starts at a practical 3.5kW and can be endlessly adjusted to suit your requirements with the E-Save remote, all the way up to the maximum output.

There's also the optional ProControl app which allows you to manage the Modore 240's heat and flame via your smart phone or tablet. Other Modore 240 options include a shiny black glass back wall to enhance the flame picture and a choice of contemporary styled fuel beds – choose either white Carrera pebbles or white or grey stone. Please note because of the Modore 240's extreme width there is no ant-reflection glass option.

The Modore 240 can also be specified with Element4's PowerFan system which can significantly widen your installation options and styles. If you need it this will allow you to safely create a balanced flue run of up to 36 metres and this, combined with the Modore 240's narrow footprint of only 370mm deep, makes it a great choice for open plan dividers and islands subject to building regulations. Please specify either natural gas or LPG operation at the time of ordering.

Alternatively, for peace of mind The Stove Yard can arrange for a Gas Safe registered engineer, who is experienced in installing Element4 specialist gas appliances, to fit your Modore 240 for you.
