According to a survey by the consumer group Which? the price people pay for energy is now a major concern along with the price of petrol and government spending cuts. Energy costs have risen by 8% since September and although British Gas, EDF and SSE, among others, have announced price freezes for the 2016/17 winter season, Which? regards these as 'temporary fixes' which don't address those customers stuck on the most expensive deals. Price hikes are expected from the 'big six' later this year. In the meantime why not try the impartial Which? Comparison Page to find out if you could save some money now on what you're currently paying.
