According to scientists from the US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (Noaa) carbon dioxide (CO2) concentrations reached a record high of 400 parts per million (ppm) globally. This has not been seen for about two million years. CO2 has risen more than 120 ppm since the industrial revolution, with half of it happening in the last three decades. You'll be glad to know that burning locally sourced wood in a modern clean burning stove stove can be virtually carbon neutral.Source:
