Element4's Summum 140 C corner gas fire is another fine example from the award-winning company of just how far you can let your imagination run riot when it comes to choosing your new gas appliance. The Summum 140 C will definitely not only make a strong architectural statement in your living space but one that will also be a very practical heating solution which is both a pleasure to look at and very enjoyable to live with. Like all Element4 gas fires it has a very controllable heat output range (2.4kW – 17.kW) and a very acceptable efficiency (A-rated 89%) especially for a living flame appliance where the flames are so abundant. It's super-wide landscape format has an impressive, virtually frameless and seamless viewable area, of 1401mm wide and 420mm high with a depth of 305mm.
The Summum 140 C incorporates Element4's justly renowned Real Flame Burner which features a specially devised LED lighting system designed to create an exceptionally realistic full width fire bed and flame picture which is always beautiful to look at, even on a low setting. Its series of naturalistically angled gas burners combined with subtle lighting playing in and around the surfaces of the lifelike ceramic logs creates a wonderful open wood fire feel which is simply hard to beat and so much more convenient than the real thing. Element4's E-Save remote control comes as standard with the Summum 140 C and will allow you to create the perfect room ambience with the Real Flame's lighting, various burner options and room temperature settings.
The Summum 140 C offers the homeowner complete installation flexibility too when you specify the optional Element4 PowerFan system. This allows you to install the Summum 140C almost anywhere in the home, including in the middle of a large open plan living space, subject to building regulations. The PowerFan has the ability to safely extend the Summum's balanced flue system up to 36 metres away from an external wall so that you don't need a chimney. This is because it has been designed to regulate the correct supply of combustion air whilst ensuring there's a sufficient opposite flow of harmful combustion gases without ever diminishing the Summum 140 C's performance.
There are a number of options which have been designed to further enhance the Summum 140 C. The anti-reflection glass option is designed to minimise glare and reflections from the windows to the point where they almost becomes invisible whilst the shiny black glass back wall option conversely uses the reflections it creates to amplify the flame picture and fill the windows with vibrant dancing light. If you want the very best from your living flame experience then both are very highly recommended. The ProControl app option will also allow you to manage this with your smart phone or tablet. Please specify either natural gas or LPG operation.
