Cupido 70 Gas Fire

Element4 Cupido 70 Balanced Flue Inset Gas Fire

The Cupido 70 is physically the largest of the two models in the Element4 Cupido gas insert range and has a viewable area of 669mm high by 609mm wide (almost 6" wider and 8" taller than the Cupido 50) to provide a great big view of the highly realistic log fire bed and the wonderful high flame patterns it produces. One of the real advantages of choosing an Element4 gas fire is its ability to create a beautiful flame pattern even on the lowest heat output and room temperature setting. These can be selected with the Cupido 70's E-Save remote control which is supplied as standard.

The Cupido 70 log fire bed features Element4's superior Real Fire gas engine which creates flames from underneath the logs which then dance around them to produce an incredibly realistic looking fire. If you prefer, instead of logs, you have the option to choose grey or white stones or Carrera pebbles to complement your interior design and you can also upgrade the standard black metal fire chamber back wall to a reflective black glass wall which will greatly enhance the flame picture. Not only that, the Cupido 70 window can also be specified in anti-reflection glass which, virtually devoid of all reflections, makes it almost invisible and helps to create a magnificent open fire image. The Cupido 70 has an impressive controllable heat output range of approximately 2.0kW to 6.0kW – the same as the Cupido 50, which is more than enough a warm a larger than average living space. It also has a good efficiency of 83% that will also help keep the costs down.

As a balanced flue gas appliance the Cupido 70 doesn't need a conventional chimney, just an outside wall and when installed in combination with an Element4' Powerfan it can be placed virtually anywhere in the home (subject to building regulations). The Powerfan provides the flexibility to specify flue lengths of up to 36 metres with no limits to either horizontal and vertical runs. Being just short of 250mm deep the Cupido 70 can also be installed within a shallow feature wall or mock chimney breast, subject to adherence of non-combustible distances and the appropriate ventilation requirements to avoid the build-up of heat pockets. It can also be installed inside a fireplace with a mantels. Specify either Natural Gas or LPG operation.
