The landscape format Element4 Summum 3S gas fire has a viewable area 1401mm wide with slim left and right hand side windows which are just 305mm wide to provide a superb 180º view of the incredibly lifelike full width log burning effect fire. With a controllable heat output range from 2.2kW up to 17.4kW and an A-rated efficiency of 89% this impressive fireplace will not only provide a stunning focal point in a large living space but also heat it quickly as well create the manageable warmth and cosy ambience that will make owning and operating the 140 3S a genuine pleasure.
Developed to fit inside a wide, yet shallow, mock purpose-made contemporary feature chimney breast the Summum 140 3S offers you virtual frameless and seamless construction which, when combined with the elegant proportions (it's just 450mm high), will make a strong architectural statement in big open plan rooms. Being a balanced flue gas fire means that you don't even need a traditional chimney either, just a suitable outside wall. Like all Element4 appliances, the Summum 140 3S gives you complete installation flexibility when it is combined with the optional PowerFan system. This allows you to safely install your fire almost anywhere in the home, even up to 36 metres away from an external wall. The PowerFan has been specially designed to regulate the correct supply of combustion air whilst ensuring there's a sufficient opposite flow of harmful combustion gases without ever diminishing the Summum 140 3S's outstanding performance.
The Summum 140 3S incorporates Element4's Real Flame Burner, which features additional LED lighting effects, to deliver a highly realistic fuel bed and flame picture that's always exceptional looking, even when operating on a low setting. It has a series of naturalistically angled gas burners across the whole width of the fire, combined with subtle lighting playing in and around the surfaces of the lifelike ceramic logs, to create a wonderful open wood fire feel which is, we at The Stove Yard believe, is easily the best in its class. Element4's E-Save remote control comes as standard with the Summum 140 3S and will allow you to set various burner combinations and room temperatures. You can also choose the ProControl option which will allow you to manage the Summum 140 3S via your tablet or smart phone. In addition, if you have one, you also have the option to link the Summum 140 3S to your home's automation system.
The Summum 140 3S has a number of useful options that we would happily recommend. One of the Summum 140 3S's most desirable features is its large windows and in order to allow you to focus solely on the fire without any unwanted glare and reflections we would suggest specifying the optional anti-reflection glass which will almost make the glass invisible. You also have the option of upgrading the matt black back wall to reflective black glass which will create an even fuller flame picture for you.
