The Summum 140 F by Element4 is a super-wide landscape shaped 'hole in the wall' feature gas fire that has a front viewable area of 1401mm wide and just 418mm high. It features Element4's renowned Real Flame Burner which incorporates an LED lighting system to create an exceptionally realistic fire bed and flame pattern which is always beautiful to look at, even on a low setting. Whether you install the Summum 140 F in a purpose-made mock chimney breast (it's only 389mm deep) or dividing wall it's elegant proportions and full width flame picture are going to make a stunning focal point in any living space. It also has a very controllable heat output range between 2.2kW and 17.4kW and an A-rated efficiency of 89%.
Like all Element4 balanced flue gas fires the Summum 140 F offers the homeowner complete installation flexibility when it is specified with the optional PowerFan system. It can be positioned almost anywhere in the home, including in the middle of a large open plan living space, subject to building regulations and because the Powerfan has the ability to extend the Summum's balanced flue system up to 36 metres away from an external wall you don't even need a chimney. The PowerFan will then regulate the correct supply of combustion air whilst ensuring there's a sufficient opposite flow of harmful combustion gases for completely safe operation and without diminishing the Summum 140 F's performance.
Element4's E-Save remote control comes as standard with the Summum 140 F to allow you to create the perfect room ambience with the Real Flame technology's various burner options and room temperatures. As well as a series of angled gas burners it also features an LED lighting effect system which when brought together with the lifelike ceramic logs creates a wonderful open wood fire feel. It's a simply gorgeous and very practical heating solution without all of the hard work of the real thing.
There are a number of options which have been designed to further enhance Summum 140 F's great looks and include anti-reflection glass designed to minimise glare and reflections and a shiny black glass back wall which instead uses reflections to effectively double-up the flame picture and completely fill the big window. If you want the very best from your living flame experience then both are very highly recommended. The ProControl app option will also allow you to manage this with your smart phone or tablet. Please specify either natural gas or LPG operation.
Since you will have to build a structure to house your new gas fire in anyway, why not add another dimension to your installation and consider one of the other five Summum 140 variants which include two, three and four-sided, double-sided see through and two-sided corner fires.
