Aga Lawley Pedestal Wood Burning Stove

The Lawley is Aga's handsome answer to the contemporary cylindrical wood burning pedestal stove. At just short of a metre high (996mm) it will not only make an imposing free-standing stove but at the same time you'll be able to depend upon its sub-5kW output easily radiating and convecting more than enough heat to keep a typical small to medium sized living space comfortably warm (depending on the standard of insulation). For larger rooms and when the Lawley is top flued it has the option of being quickly rotated as different aspects of an open plan living space come into play during the day. The new position of the stove can be safely and permanently locked using the lever at the right hand side of the base of the fire box.

With a contemporary stove, how it looks is almost as important as how it performs, since these stoves are often positioned to take centre stage and provide an impressive focal point in a modern living space. From that point of view then the Lawley's big curved window and great view of the fire, along with Aga's attention to the design and detail are as good as you're going to get on most designer stoves. Clean lines and the well balanced proportions of the ovaloid firebox, sturdy pedestal and base, allied with the renowned Aga build quality and use of premium materials, all add to the attractiveness of this excellent wood burning pedestal stove.

The Lawley's Defra Approved performance is ErP A+ rated at 80.2% efficiency and regulating the combustion air is very simple with just one slider control below the door to provide a perfect mix of primary boost and secondary air for easier firelighting and wonderful clean burn flame patterns. There's a very effective pre-heated secondary air wash system for keeping the large glass area clean as well as direct external air (DEAS) capability with a discreet 120mm diameter direct air inlet at the base of the pedestal making it an ideal choice for a post-2008 home. The Lawley is finished in contemporary graphite grey and has a large user-friendly matching cool touch door handle.
